Hey everyone, it’s your guy, back at it again with another fun project! So, Halloween is coming up, and I thought, why not try something fun and different for a party I’m hosting? I decided to make a Halloween veggie platter. Let me tell you, it turned out pretty awesome, and I’m here to share how I did it.
First off, I gathered all my veggies. I picked up some carrots, bell peppers (orange, of course), broccoli, cauliflower, cucumbers, and cherry tomatoes. I also grabbed some black olives and a couple of different dips – hummus and a spinach-artichoke one. You know, to keep things interesting.
I started by washing all the vegetables thoroughly. Then, I got down to chopping. The carrots, I sliced into little rounds to make them look like pumpkins. It was a bit of a pain, but totally worth it! For the bell peppers, I carved out little jack-o’-lantern faces. I’m not gonna lie, it took some patience, but they looked super cool in the end.

The broccoli and cauliflower, I just broke into bite-sized pieces. These were going to be my “spooky trees” and “ghostly clouds.” I sliced the cucumbers into rounds as well, nothing fancy there. The cherry tomatoes, I left whole – they were perfect as they were.
Arranging the Platter
Now for the fun part – arranging everything on the platter. I used a big, round platter to make it easier. First, I placed the bowls of dip in the middle. Then, I started arranging the veggies around them.
- I put the carrot “pumpkins” and bell pepper jack-o’-lanterns around the edges, kind of like a border.
- Next, I added the broccoli “trees” and cauliflower “clouds” in clusters. It started to look like a spooky landscape.
- I scattered the cucumber rounds and cherry tomatoes around to fill in the gaps.
- Finally, I dotted the whole thing with black olives. They looked like little spiders!
When I finished, I stepped back to admire my work. It looked amazing! The colors were vibrant, and the whole thing just screamed Halloween. My friends were super impressed when they saw it, and the platter was a huge hit at the party.
Honestly, it was way easier than I thought it would be. Plus, it was a healthy snack option amidst all the candy. If you’re looking for a fun, festive, and healthy addition to your Halloween party, definitely give this veggie platter a try. You won’t regret it!
That’s all for now, folks. Catch you in the next one!
