Christmas Tree Brownies, All Fudgy and Good

First thing I think of is them brownies. But not just any brownies. Christmas Tree Brownies! You make ’em all fudgy and good. I seen one recipe, they shaped them like Christmas trees! You can do that, or just cut ’em into squares. Don’t matter much, long as they taste good.

You gotta use the special flour, though. Not the regular kind. There’s this almond flour, and coconut flour. They work good. And instead of butter, you can use that coconut oil. Or sometimes that applesauce, that works too, makes them moist.

  • Almond flour
  • Coconut flour
  • Coconut oil
  • Applesauce

Then you gotta use the right kind of chocolate. Some of them chocolates, they got milk in ’em. Gotta find the ones that don’t. They’re out there, you just gotta look. And for sweet, you can use honey or that maple syrup. I like using dark chocolate for these dairy free desserts.

You mix it all up, bake it in a pan, and there you go. Fudgy Christmas Tree Brownies. Even those folks with the tummy troubles, they can eat ’em.

Gingerbread Cookies, Just Like Always

Then there’s them gingerbread cookies. Everybody loves them gingerbread cookies at Christmas. And you can make them without the gluten and the dairy, too! I like these gluten free Christmas desserts. They taste just as good as the regular kind.

Again, you gotta use the special flour. And instead of butter, you can use that shortening. The kind made from plants. And for the milk, there’s almond milk and coconut milk. They work just fine in them cookies.

You still use all them spices, though. The ginger, and the cinnamon, and the cloves. That’s what makes ’em taste like Christmas. Roll ’em out, cut ’em into little men, bake ’em up. They make great Christmas desserts.

  • Special flour (gluten-free)
  • Shortening (plant-based)
  • Almond milk or coconut milk
  • Ginger
  • Cinnamon
  • Cloves

And you can still decorate ’em, too. Just gotta find the right kind of frosting. They make frosting without milk, you know. Made from that powdered sugar and water or maybe some of that plant-based milk. Little food coloring, make ’em all pretty. Even without gluten or dairy, gingerbread cookies are great!

Or you can make your own with that special flour and that plant-based shortening. Then, for the filling you can use fruits, these are naturally gluten free and dairy free.

Apple pie, that’s a good one. Just use apples, sugar, cinnamon, and a little bit of that special flour to thicken it up. Or pumpkin pie. You can use that canned pumpkin, and instead of evaporated milk, you use that coconut milk. Tastes just as good, I tell ya.
