Okay, here’s my attempt at a blog post, following all your instructions, about toasting English muffins in an air fryer:
Alright, so the other day I was craving a quick breakfast, and all I had were some English muffins. I usually just pop them in the toaster, but I’ve been on this air fryer kick lately, trying to cook EVERYTHING in it. Figured, why not give the muffins a shot?
Getting Started
First, I grabbed my trusty air fryer and those English muffins. I always keep a pack in the freezer, because, you know, gotta have options. I took out two muffins, they were pretty frozen solid.

The Process
I preheated the air fryer. 350 degrees Fahrenheit seemed like a good starting point. Didn’t want to burn them, but I also wanted them crispy, not just warm. The air fryer manual had some general guidance, but English muffins are a unique beast. I am going to give it a try.
While it was heating up, I split the muffins. Always use a fork, folks! Gives you those nice, nooks and crannies for the butter to melt into. Seriously, a knife just doesn’t cut it. (Pun intended, haha!).
Once the air fryer was ready, I placed the muffin halves, cut-side up, in the basket. Didn’t overcrowd it, just the two in there.
- First try: 3 minutes. I checked them, and they were…okay. Warm, but not toasted.
- Second try: I flipped them and gave them another 2 minutes. Still not quite there.
- Third try: I bumped up the time by 2 more minutes on the original *!
The Results
Finally, after a total of about 7 minutes (3 initial + 2 flipped + 2 more) , I pulled them out. Golden brown, slightly crispy edges, and that perfect, slightly chewy texture inside. Way better than a soggy microwave job, and honestly, faster and more evenly toasted than my regular toaster sometimes does!
I slathered them with some butter and jam, and boom! Breakfast of champions. Or, you know, a perfectly acceptable, quick weekday breakfast.
So, there you have it. Air fryer English muffins. Definitely a win in my book. Give it a try, and let me know how it goes for you! It is all trails and errors sometime, I am glad I did it!
