Taters, Taters, Taters
Now, you can’t go wrong with taters. Potatoes, you know? Them’s good eatin’.
- Fried Taters: Just slice ’em up, fry ’em in some oil. Salty and good. My favorite sides for chicken tenders. Everybody loves fried taters. I like to cut ’em up kinda thick. Makes ’em crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Just how I like ’em. And salt! Don’t forget the salt. Lots of salt.
- Mashed Taters: Boil ’em, mash ’em, add some butter and milk. Easy peasy. These are really easy. Just boil the potatoes till they’re soft, then mash ’em up with a fork or one of them fancy mashers. Lots of butter, too. Makes ’em creamy. Some folks add garlic. Not me. Just butter and milk.
- Baked Taters: Wrap ’em in foil, bake ’em in the oven. Top with butter, cheese, whatever you like. These take a while, but they’re worth it. Just poke some holes in ’em with a fork, wrap ’em up in foil, and stick ’em in the oven. Then you can put all sorts of good stuff on ’em. Cheese, butter, sour cream if you got it.
Veggies and Such
Gotta have your greens, I reckon. Even with chicken tenders.
- Corn on the Cob: Sweet and juicy. Just boil it or grill it. Corn is good. ‘Specially in the summer. Just boil it up till it’s tender. Or you can grill it if you’re fancy. Some butter and salt, that’s all you need. That’s what I put on them chicken tenders too.

- Cole Slaw: Shredded cabbage with some dressing. It’s crunchy and tangy. This one’s a little more work, but it’s good. You gotta shred up the cabbage real fine. - Fruit Salad: If you want somethin’ sweet. Just cut up some fruit and put it in a bowl. Sometimes you just want somethin’ sweet, you know? Just cut up whatever fruit you got. Apples, oranges, grapes, whatever. Kids like this one. I like sides for chicken tenders that are easy.

- Honey Mustard: Sweet and tangy. My favorite. This one’s my favorite. It’s sweet and tangy at the same time. Just mix up some honey and some mustard. Easy peasy.
- BBQ Sauce: Smoky and sweet. Good on anything. BBQ sauce is good on just about anything. You can buy it in a bottle, or you can make your own if you’re a good cook. I always keep a bottle around.
- Ranch Dressing: Creamy and cool. Kids love this one, too. This one’s good if you like somethin’ creamy. It’s good on salad, too, but I like it with chicken tenders.
