Okay, so, I was craving some chicken wings the other day, the frozen kind, you know? I wanted something easy but also yummy. So I hit up the grocery store and stared at the freezer section for a good while. There were so many choices!
I grabbed a few different bags, some with sauces, some without. I ended up with these Perdue Air Fryer Ready Roasted Crispy Chicken Wings, the Lemon Pepper ones. They looked pretty good on the bag. I also saw some Texas-style dry rub smoked wings and some Daytona Beach BBQ wings that looked interesting, but I decided to keep it simple for the first try.
Cooking Time
First, I preheated my air fryer. That thing is a lifesaver, seriously. While it was heating up, I ripped open the bag of wings. They were all nicely frozen, not stuck together or anything, which was a good sign. They give you those little seasoning packets to toss the chicken with after it cooks, so I made sure to grab a good-sized bowl to shake them up in. I dumped the wings into the air fryer basket, making sure they weren’t too crowded.

I cooked them for the time it said on the bag, flipping them halfway through. I checked them a few times because I like my wings extra crispy. When they were done, they smelled amazing! All that lemon pepper goodness.
Taste Test
I tossed the cooked wings in the bowl with the seasoning packet, gave it a good shake, and then dug in. Oh man, these were good! The skin was nice and crispy, and the lemon pepper flavor was on point. Not too salty, not too peppery, just right. I ate way more than I planned to, haha.
Final Thoughts
- Easy to cook: Seriously, just pop them in the air fryer and you’re good to go.
- Great flavor: That lemon pepper was delicious.
- Good for a quick meal or snack: Perfect for when you’re feeling lazy but still want something tasty.
I also read somewhere that freezing chicken wings can make them last for like 3 months, or even 6-12 months if you vacuum seal them. Good to know if I want to stock up next time! Anyway, I’m definitely getting these Perdue Lemon Pepper wings again. They’re a winner in my book.
