Okay, here’s my post about making Rice Krispies with peanut butter and white chocolate. I gotta say, this was a fun little project!
So, I started by gathering all my stuff. I’m not a big baker, but I do like making easy treats, and this one is super simple. I grabbed a big box of Rice Krispies cereal, some creamy peanut butter, a bag of white chocolate chips, and some almond butter. I don’t like marshmallows, so the almond butter was a good swap to get things to stick together.

- Creamy peanut butter
- White chocolate chips
- Almond butter
First, I melted the white chocolate chips. I just put them in a bowl and zapped them in the microwave for about 30 seconds, then stirred, and kept doing that until it was all smooth and melty. You gotta watch it, though, ’cause that stuff can burn fast.
Next, I mixed the peanut butter and almond butter together. I’ve done peanut butter with Rice Krispies before. But this almond butter was new to me. I know they said it would work like marshmallows, so I combined them and it got all gooey and sticky, just like they said it would. Perfect!
Mixing it up
Then, I dumped the Rice Krispies into a big bowl and poured the melted white chocolate over them. I stirred that all up until every little Krispie was coated. After that, I added the peanut butter and almond butter mixture and mixed it some more. It got pretty sticky, but I managed to get everything combined.
Once it was all mixed, I pressed the whole mess into a pan. I lined the pan with some parchment paper first, so it wouldn’t stick. Then I just let it cool down and harden up. This was the hardest part, waiting! It was only like an hour, but it felt like forever.
Finally, I cut it into squares. They were so good! Crunchy, sweet, with that nice peanut butter flavor and the white chocolate. I even shared some with my neighbor, and she loved them too. She said she might try making them with milk chocolate next time. I might try that myself!
This was way easier than I thought it would be. And way tastier! I’ll definitely be making these again. Maybe I’ll even get fancy and drizzle some extra white chocolate on top next time. If you like Rice Krispies treats, you gotta try this!
