Okay, here is my blog post about my experience trying out some Aidells Chicken Apple Sausage recipes:
Alright, folks, let’s talk about sausages. Specifically, Aidells Chicken Apple Sausage. I picked up a pack last week ’cause they were on sale, and I figured, why not? I’m always looking for easy meals, and these looked promising.
First off, I pan-fried a couple of links. Just tossed them in a skillet with a little bit of olive oil and cooked them until they were browned all over. They smelled amazing while they were cooking, all sweet and savory. I served them up with some scrambled eggs and toast. A pretty solid breakfast, I gotta say. The sausage was juicy and had a nice snap to it. The apple flavor was subtle but definitely there.

One-Pan Wonder
Next, I tried a one-pan recipe I found online. It involved roasting the sausages with some chopped veggies. I used potatoes, onions, and bell peppers. I also added some sliced apples to the mix, ’cause, you know, chicken apple sausage. Everything went into a baking dish, and I drizzled it all with olive oil, salt, pepper, and some dried herbs.
I baked it at 400 degrees for about 30 minutes, giving everything a good stir halfway through. The result? A super easy and flavorful meal. The veggies were tender, and the sausage was cooked perfectly. Plus, cleanup was a breeze since it was all in one pan.
Pasta Perfection
Finally, I decided to get a little fancy and made a pasta dish with the sausage. I cooked some penne pasta. While that was going, I sliced up the sausage and sauteed it with some garlic and onions. Then I tossed in some spinach and let it wilt down.
Once the pasta was done, I added it to the skillet along with some grated Parmesan cheese and a splash of pasta water to create a light sauce. This one was a real winner. It was quick, easy, and tasted like I spent way more time on it than I actually did.
So, there you have it. My adventures with Aidells Chicken Apple Sausage. They’re a great option for quick and tasty meals. I’m definitely going to be buying them again. And I might even try making my own version with ground chicken and apples. If I do, I’ll be sure to share the recipe here!
