Okay, guys, so today I decided to make myself some bacon strips. It’s really simple, and it’s something I do quite often when I want a quick and tasty snack or a nice addition to my breakfast.
First off, I went and grabbed the bacon from the fridge. It is better to focus on three specific cubs when you choose bacon: streaky, and regular. Then, I preheated my oven. I set it to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, which is about 205 degrees Celsius. While the oven was heating up, I took out a baking sheet.
Next, I lined the baking sheet with a piece of foil. I spread them out in a single layer on the foil. Oh boy, this part is important if you want each strip to cook evenly.

Once the oven was ready, I put the baking sheet with the bacon into it. I set the timer for about 15 minutes, but you really should keep an eye on it, because the exact time depends on how crispy you like your bacon and how thick the slices are. I like mine pretty crispy, so sometimes I leave it in for a bit longer.
After about 10 minutes, I usually check on the bacon. Sometimes I flip the strips over with tongs to make sure they cook evenly on both sides. But, you know, this time I felt a bit lazy, so I just let them be. It turned out just fine, thankfully.
When the timer went off, I took the baking sheet out of the oven. The bacon was all nicely browned and crispy. Man, the smell was amazing! I carefully took each strip off the sheet with tongs and put them on a plate lined with paper towels. The paper towels help soak up any extra grease, making the bacon even crispier.
And that’s it! In about 20 minutes, I had a plate of perfectly cooked bacon strips. They were delicious, crispy, and just the right amount of greasy. I ended up eating them with some scrambled eggs and toast. What a fantastic breakfast it was!

Here is the summarized steps I did:
Seriously, if you haven’t tried making bacon this way, you should give it a go. It’s super easy and the results are just chef’s kiss!
