Okay, here’s my experience making chicken meatballs with teriyaki and pineapple.

So, the other day, I wanted to make something tasty and easy. I ended up making these Pineapple Teriyaki Chicken Meatballs! They are so good and have become a must-make in my home.

Getting Started

First, I gathered all my ingredients. I grabbed some ground chicken, panko bread crumbs, an egg, and some spices for the meatballs. For the teriyaki sauce, I got soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, garlic, and ginger. And of course, I needed pineapple chunks.

Making the Meatballs

I started by mixing the ground chicken with the panko, a beaten egg, and some salt and pepper in a big bowl. I got my hands in there and mixed it all up until it was just combined. Then, I rolled the mixture into small, bite-sized balls. It was a bit messy, but pretty fun!

Cooking the Meatballs

Next, I heated up some oil in a large pan over medium heat. Once the oil was hot, I placed the meatballs in the pan, making sure not to overcrowd it. I cooked them for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until they were golden brown and cooked through. I did this in a couple of batches to make sure they all cooked evenly.

Making the Teriyaki Sauce

While the meatballs were resting, I started on the teriyaki sauce. In the same pan, I combined the soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger. I let it simmer for a few minutes, stirring occasionally, until it started to thicken up a bit. It smelled amazing!

Adding the Pineapple

Then came the best part – adding the pineapple chunks to the sauce. I threw them in and let them cook for about 2-3 minutes, just enough to get them coated in that delicious teriyaki sauce and heated through.

Combining Everything

Finally, I added the cooked meatballs back into the pan with the pineapple and sauce. I tossed everything together gently, making sure each meatball was nicely coated. I let it all simmer for another minute or two, just to make sure the flavors all melded together.

Serving It Up

I served these yummy meatballs over some rice, and it was a hit! The combination of the savory meatballs, sweet and tangy teriyaki sauce, and juicy pineapple was just perfect. These Pineapple Teriyaki Chicken Meatballs were delicious, simple, and so much fun to make.

  • Mixing: Ground chicken, panko, egg, salt, pepper.
  • Rolling: Form into small balls.
  • Cooking: 5-7 minutes each side until golden.

Honestly, these meatballs are now one of my favorite go-to meals. Every time I make them, it’s a little bit of an adventure, and I’m always satisfied with the result. Everyone loves them, and I think you will too! Try making them, they are a real treat.
