Okay, so I’ve been wanting to shake things up in the kitchen lately. I was getting so bored with the same old meals, you know? So, I decided to dive into some new recipes and document the whole messy, delicious process. I’m calling it my “Delightful Recipes” journey – because, let’s be honest, even the fails can be kinda delightful in their own way.

First Steps: Finding Inspiration

I started by just browsing around. I looked at some food blogs, flipped through a few cookbooks my grandma gave me (vintage!), and even scrolled through endless food pics. Seriously, it’s a rabbit hole.

I wanted stuff that was, 1) tasty, obviously, and 2) not crazy complicated. I’m no professional chef, I needed the recipes with simple and detailed steps.

The Experimentation Begins!

  • Recipe 1: Lemon Herb Roasted Chicken.

I found a recipe that looked promising.

I gathered all the ingredients: a whole chicken, lemons, fresh rosemary, thyme, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Then, I prepped the chicken by patting it dry and rubbing it with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

I chopped the herbs and garlic, mixed them with lemon zest and juice.

I stuffed the chicken cavity with the lemon halves and herb mixture.

I roasted it in the oven, And guess what? It turned out pretty good! The skin was crispy, and the meat was juicy.

  • Recipe 2 : One pan pasta.

I was lookig for something quick and found a super easy one-pan pasta recipe.

First,I picked my pasta I used basic spaghetti.

Then, I chopped some cherry tomatoes, onions, and garlic.

I threw everything into a large pan with vegetable broth, olive oil, salt, pepper, and some red pepper flakes for a little kick.

I boiled until the pasta was cooked and the sauce had thickened.

Finally I sprinkled some cheese and served. It was surprisingly flavorful for such a simple dish!

  • Recipe 3: Chocolate Avocado Pudding (Yes, Really!).

I know, it sounds weird, but I was curious. I found this recipe for a chocolate pudding made with avocado.

I blended ripe avocados, cocoa powder, honey, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until it was super smooth.

And, oh boy it was incredibly rich and chocolatey, and you couldn’t even taste the avocado!
