Okay, so I’ve been on this huge ice cream kick lately, and you know what? I wanted to try making some myself. I saw this thing called a “Ninja Creami” and thought, why not? I’m a sucker for peanut butter, so that’s what I went with for my first attempt.
I grabbed the Creami and looked up a simple recipe. First, I got a medium-sized bowl and started with the peanut butter. I dumped a good amount of it into the bowl. I mean, who doesn’t love peanut butter, right? Then, the recipe called for some heavy cream and milk. So, I poured those in too.
Next, I mixed them all together. The recipe said to make sure it was smooth, so I spent a good few minutes just stirring. It took some effort to get all the peanut butter to blend in properly, but I got there. Oh, and I added a bit of vanilla extract too, because why not? A little vanilla never hurt anyone.

- Beat together peanut butter
- Add heavy cream and milk
- Mix until smooth
- Add vanilla extract
Once everything was mixed, I poured the mixture into the Creami container. I tried not to overfill it, following the instructions. Then came the hard part – waiting. I had to freeze the mixture for like, 24 hours. Talk about torture! I’m not the most patient person, you see.
The next day, I finally got to use the Creami. I took the frozen mixture out of the freezer, let it thaw for a bit, and popped it into the machine. I followed the settings for ice cream and pressed start. The machine whirred and did its thing, and I just watched, feeling like a kid on Christmas morning.
After a few minutes, it was done! I opened the lid, and there it was, my homemade peanut butter ice cream. I grabbed a spoon and dug in. And let me tell you, it was pretty darn good! Creamy, peanut buttery, and just the right amount of sweet. I was actually surprised at how well it turned out, to be honest.
So, yeah, that’s my little adventure with the Ninja Creami and peanut butter ice cream. It was a bit of a process, especially the waiting, but totally worth it. I might just be addicted to making my own ice cream now. Who knows what flavor I’ll try next?
