So, naturally I divided that result by 2, and get the result:

- There are 8 cups in a half gallon.
The recipe was saved! Turns out, it’s 8 cups. Simple math, once you know the starting point, it became pretty straightforward, it all worked out, and the dish I was making turned out great, phew!
