Okay, so I decided to make some fried salmon bites the other day. It sounded good, and I figured, why not? I’m no chef, but I do like to mess around in the kitchen sometimes.
First, I went out and grabbed some salmon fillets. I made sure they weren’t too thick, you know? Just right for biting into. Then, I brought them back home and got to work. I cut them up into these little bite-sized pieces. Not too big, not too small.
- Cut the salmon into bite-sized pieces
- Season them up real good
Next, I seasoned them up real good. Salt, pepper, a little bit of garlic powder because why not? I wanted them to have some flavor, you know? Then, I heated up some oil in a pan. Just a regular frying pan, nothing fancy.

Getting That Crisp
Now, this is where I think I did alright. I read somewhere that you’re supposed to let the salmon cook without messing with it too much. So, I put the pieces in the hot oil and just… left them alone. I could hear them sizzling away, and that’s how I knew they were getting that nice, crispy outside.
After a few minutes, I flipped them over to cook the other side. I didn’t want one side to be super crispy and the other side all soft. Gotta have that balance, right?
Once they were done, I took them out and put them on some paper towels. This is something my grandma always did to get rid of the extra oil. Old habits, I guess. But it works!
Final Touches
Honestly, they turned out pretty good! Golden brown, crispy on the outside, and still juicy on the inside. I ate them just like that, but I bet they’d be good with some dipping sauce or something. Maybe next time I’ll try that.
So yeah, that’s my little kitchen adventure with fried salmon bites. It’s not rocket science, but it was fun, and they were tasty. If you’re looking for something easy to make, give it a shot. You might surprise yourself!
