Okay, here’s my attempt at a blog post, following all your instructions:
So, I decided to try making those “individual charcuterie boxes” I’ve been seeing all over Pinterest. You know, the cute little ones, perfect for picnics or, let’s be real, just snacking on the couch.
First, I gathered all my stuff. This was probably the hardest part, honestly. I mean, who actually has a matching set of tiny boxes? Not me. I ended up using some leftover takeout containers – the clear plastic ones. Hey, it works!

Then, I hit up the grocery store. I grabbed a bunch of different cheeses. I’m no cheese expert, so I just picked whatever looked good. Some cheddar, some brie (because it felt fancy), and some of that weird-looking stuff with the orange rind. I also Grab different * salty and some sweet,I think that’s necessary.
Next, I got some meats. Salami, of course. And some prosciutto, because, again, fancy. I also threw in some of those little pepperonis. Gotta have some variety, right?
My “Assembly” Process
- I lined the bottom of my containers with some parchment paper. Mostly because it looked nicer in the pictures I saw.
- Then, I started arranging the cheese and meat. I tried to make it look all artistic, like folding the salami into little rosettes. It was… okay. Not exactly Pinterest-worthy, but definitely edible.
- I added in some crackers, kind of wedging them in between the cheese and meat.
- Finally, I tossed in some grapes and a few olives. Because it needed something green, you know?
And that was it! Honestly, it was pretty easy. And way more fun than just throwing a bunch of cheese and crackers on a plate. Will I do it again? Definitely. Maybe next time I’ll even invest in some actual boxes. Or at least wash the takeout containers really well.
