Okay, so I saw this recipe for pimento cheese sausage balls and I just had to try it. I mean, who doesn’t love sausage balls? And adding pimento cheese? Genius!
First, I gathered all my ingredients. I already had most of it, simple stuff. I grabbed:
- Sausage (I used regular breakfast sausage, but you could use hot if you like things spicy)
- Shredded cheddar cheese
- Pimento cheese (store-bought is fine, no shame!)
- Baking mix
- Milk
Then, I preheated my oven to 350°F. While that was heating up, I took a big bowl and threw in the sausage, cheddar cheese, and pimento cheese.

Next, I added the baking mix, make sure all of it is mixed well. My hands were a total mess, but it’s the best way to really get everything combined.
Time to roll! I pinched off pieces of the mixture and rolled them into little balls, maybe about an inch big. I placed them on a baking sheet.I didn’t grease the sheet, and it was fine.
Finally, I popped the baking sheet into the oven and baked them for about 20-25 minutes, until they were all golden brown and cooked through.
I pulled them out of the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving . And, oh man, were they good! The pimento cheese added this awesome creamy, tangy flavor. Definitely a winner!
