Okay, folks, let’s talk about how I made these Tyson Honey Battered Chicken Tenders in my air fryer. It’s super easy, and they turned out awesome.
First, I grabbed the bag of tenders from the freezer. I didn’t thaw them or anything, just straight from frozen. That’s the beauty of the air fryer, right?
Next, I preheated my air fryer. I usually set it to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. While that was warming up, I prepared the air fryer,I placed a sheet in the basket so it was easy to clean.

Once the air fryer was hot, I arranged the chicken tenders in a single layer in the basket. Don’t overcrowd it! You want the air to circulate around each piece so they get nice and crispy. I had to do mine in two batches.
I cooked them for about 8 minutes, then I flipped them over with some tongs and cooked them for another 6-8 minutes. The time can vary a bit depending on your air fryer, so keep an eye on them. You want them to be golden brown and crispy.
Check for Doneness
- Visually inspect: They should be a nice, deep golden brown color.
- Feel the texture: The breading should feel firm and crispy, not soft or soggy.
Once they were done, I took them out and let them cool for a couple of minutes. They were super hot! Then, I served them up. And They’re perfect with some dipping sauces, I chose some honey mustard, and the kids are happy.
Seriously, that’s all there is to it. It’s a super quick and easy way to make these chicken tenders, and they taste way better than baking them in the oven. The air fryer is a game-changer!
