Okay, here’s my blog post about air frying frozen green beans, written in a casual, first-person style, using simple HTML tags for formatting:
So, I’ve been trying to eat healthier lately, you know how it is. And green beans are, like, a classic healthy side dish. But sometimes I’m just lazy and don’t want to deal with fresh ones. That’s where frozen green beans come in clutch!
I used to just microwave them, but they always ended up kinda soggy. Not great. Then I discovered the magic of the air fryer. Seriously, it’s a game changer for frozen veggies.

My Super Simple Air Fryer Frozen Green Bean Method
Here’s what I do:
- Grab:I grabbed my bag of frozen green beans straight from the freezer. No thawing needed, which is awesome.
- Toss:I dumped a bunch of green beans into a bowl. I didn’t measure, just eyeballed it for a good serving size.
- Spray:I sprayed a bit with olive oil, because all the good stuff needs a little oil.
- Season: I seasoned, sprinkled on some salt, pepper, and garlic powder. You can use whatever you like, though. Onion powder is good too! Sometimes I get fancy and add a little paprika.
- Mix:I tossed everything together to make sure the green beans were nicely coated with the oil and seasonings.
- Fry:I dumped the beans into my air fryer basket. I have one of those basket-style ones, not the tray kind. I spread them out a bit so they weren’t all piled on top of each other.
- Set:I set the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Cook:I cooked them for about 8-10 minutes. I like mine a little crispy, so I went for the full 10. You might want to check them around 8 minutes and see how they’re doing.
- Shake:Halfway through, around the 4 or 5-minute mark, I gave the basket a good shake to make sure they cooked evenly.
And that’s it! They came out perfectly crispy and delicious. Way better than microwaving, and so much faster than roasting them in the oven.
My final thought:If you’re looking for a quick, easy, and healthy side dish, definitely try air frying frozen green beans. You won’t be disappointed!
