Pizza Bagel Air Fryer: Quick Recipe for Crispy Results!

Okay, so I’ve been seeing these pizza bagels all over TikTok and Instagram, and I finally decided to give them a try. I mean, who doesn’t love pizza? And bagels? And the air fryer? It’s like a trifecta of deliciousness and convenience.

Getting Started

First, I gathered my ingredients. Nothing fancy, just the basics:

  • Bagels (I used plain, but everything bagels would be amazing too)
  • Pizza sauce (I had a jar of my favorite marinara)
  • Mozzarella cheese (shredded, because I’m lazy)
  • Pepperoni (because, obviously)
  • Any other toppings you like! (I kept it simple this time)

The Process

I sliced the bagels in half. You know, like you’re gonna make a sandwich. Then, I spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on each half. Don’t go crazy with the sauce, or it’ll get soggy.

Next, I sprinkled a generous amount of mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce. I’m a cheese fiend, so I went a little overboard. No regrets.

Then, I arranged the pepperoni slices on top of the cheese. Again, I like a lot of pepperoni, so I didn’t hold back.

Air Fryer Magic

I preheated my air fryer to 350°F (about 175°C). Some recipes said 400, but I didn’t want to burn anything. Once it was hot, I carefully placed the bagel halves in the air fryer basket. Make sure they’re not overlapping, or they won’t cook evenly.

I cooked them for about 5-7 minutes. I just kept an eye on them until the cheese was melted and bubbly and the edges of the bagel were starting to get golden brown. The time might vary depending on your air fryer, so just use your best judgment.

The Result!

Oh. My. Goodness. These were SO good! The bagel was perfectly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The cheese was gooey and melty, and the pepperoni was nice and crispy. It was like a mini pizza, but better because it was on a bagel!

I’m definitely making these again. Next time, I might try adding some mushrooms and onions. Or maybe some olives and peppers. The possibilities are endless! Seriously, if you have an air fryer and you haven’t tried these yet, you’re missing out.
