Okay, here’s my post about making a strawberry banana smoothie without yogurt, just like I did it.
So, I was in the mood for a smoothie the other day. Something easy, you know? I had some strawberries and bananas lying around, but I realized I was out of yogurt. No biggie, I figured I could still make it work.
First, I grabbed about a cup of strawberries. I washed them real good and chopped off the tops. Then, I took one ripe banana, you know, with some brown spots, ’cause those are the sweetest. I peeled it and broke it into a few pieces.

My Simple Recipe
- About 1 cup of strawberries (washed and hulled)
- 1 ripe banana (peeled and broken into chunks)
- A splash of milk – any kind you like!
- Some ice cubes, maybe half a cup or so
I dumped all that into my blender. To make up for the no-yogurt situation, I added a splash of milk. I use almond milk, but you do you. Regular milk, soy milk, whatever floats your boat. And for that frosty chill, I tossed in a handful of ice, maybe about half a cup.
Then, the fun part – I blended it all up! I started slow and then cranked it up to high speed. You want it to get all nice and smooth, no chunks. This took maybe a minute or two.
Once it was all smooth and creamy-looking, I poured it into a glass. And bam! A pretty tasty strawberry banana smoothie, even without the yogurt. It was sweet, cold, and just what I needed. Seriously, it was gone in like five minutes.
So yeah, that’s my little smoothie adventure. It’s nothing fancy, just a quick and easy way to make a yummy treat. Give it a try sometime if you’re looking for a simple smoothie fix!
