Okay, so today I decided to dive into the world of Weight Watchers (WW) cookies. I’ve been trying to be a bit healthier, but, you know, cookies are my weakness. So, I thought, “Why not try to find some WW-friendly recipes?” Let the baking adventure begin!
The Great Recipe Hunt
First things first, I needed some recipes. I hit up the internet, searching for “WW cookie recipes.” I found a TON of options. Honestly, it was a little overwhelming. There were recipes for everything from classic chocolate chip to more adventurous stuff like oatmeal raisin and peanut butter.
Choosing My Victims (aka Recipes)
After scrolling for what felt like forever, I settled on two recipes:

- A simple sugar cookie recipe, because, well, it’s a classic.
- A chocolate chip cookie recipe, because I’m only human.
Gathering the Goods
Next up, grocery shopping! I made a list of all the ingredients I needed, trying to stick to the healthier options suggested in the recipes – things like applesauce instead of oil, and whole wheat flour instead of regular white flour. I even grabbed some sugar substitutes to try.
Into the Kitchen!
Time to get baking! I started with the sugar cookies. I followed the recipe, more or less. I’m not the best at exact measurements, so there might have been a little extra vanilla extract in there… whoops! I mixed everything up, rolled out the dough (which was a bit stickier than I expected, to be honest), and used some cute cookie cutters to make fun shapes.
Then, I popped them in the oven and waited. The smell was amazing, by the way. While those were baking, I whipped up the chocolate chip cookie dough. This one was a little easier, no rolling required! Just drop the dough onto the baking sheet and you’re good to go.
The Moment of Truth
Okay, the cookies are out of the oven! The sugar cookies looked pretty good, a little golden brown around the edges. The chocolate chip cookies were, well, a little flatter than I expected. But hey, they still smelled delicious.
Time for the taste test! The sugar cookies were surprisingly good! Not too sweet, and they had a nice, soft texture. The chocolate chip cookies were… okay. They were definitely healthier-tasting than regular chocolate chip cookies, but still pretty satisfying.
All in all, I call it a success! Did I create the perfect, most amazing WW cookies ever? No, I think the real cookies still have an edge. But did I find some decent, lower-point options that satisfy my sweet tooth? Absolutely!
