Okay, so the other day I was starving, and all I had in my freezer were these frozen breadsticks. You know, the kind you get from the grocery store? I really wanted something warm and tasty, but I didn’t want to wait forever for the oven to heat up. Then I remembered my trusty air fryer! I figured, why not try cooking these breadsticks in there?
First, I pulled out the frozen breadsticks. They were solid as a rock, obviously. I preheated my air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. While it was heating up, I lined up the breadsticks on a plate. I made sure not to stack them on top of each other.
Getting Them in the Basket
Once the air fryer was ready, I carefully placed the breadsticks in the basket. I only put in about five at a time because my air fryer isn’t huge. You want to make sure there’s some space between them so they cook evenly, you know? Nobody wants a half-frozen, half-cooked breadstick!
Cooking Time!
I set the timer for 5 minutes and let them cook. I peeked in a couple of times, just to make sure they weren’t burning. You never know with these things, sometimes they cook faster than you think. The smell? Oh man, it started to smell so good in my kitchen! Just like freshly baked bread.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Place the breadsticks in the basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 5 minutes.
The Results?
After 5 minutes, the timer dinged, and I pulled out the basket. The breadsticks were golden brown and looked perfect! They were crispy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. I grabbed one (after letting them cool for just a sec, of course), dipped it in some marinara sauce I had, and wow! It was delicious. Seriously, way better than I expected. They were better than the results by oven!
So, yeah, if you’re ever in a pinch and need a quick snack, try cooking frozen breadsticks in your air fryer. It’s super easy, and the results are amazing! Next time I want to try 320F for reheating some breadsticks and see how it turns out. I’ll keep you guys posted.
