Okay, so I’ve been seeing these aesthetic summer tea recipes all over my feed, and I finally decided to give one a try. I’m not gonna lie, I was a little intimidated at first, but it turned out to be way easier than I thought!
First, I gathered all my ingredients. I wanted something refreshing and fruity, so I picked up:
- Some fresh strawberries
- A juicy mango
- A lemon
- A few sprigs of mint from my little herb garden
- And of course, some black tea bags (I just used the regular kind I had in my cupboard)
Then, I brewed a big pitcher of black tea. I let it steep for, like, 5 minutes? I’m not really precise with this, I just eyeballed it until it looked dark enough. While the tea was still hot, I added a bit of sugar. Not too much, just enough to balance out the tartness of the lemon I planned to use later.

The Fun Part: Fruity Goodness
Next, I chopped up the strawberries and mango into small pieces. I’m not the best at chopping, so they weren’t perfectly uniform, but hey, it’s all going into the same place, right?
I squeezed the juice of half a lemon into the tea. And Added some ice into glasses.
Then, I threw the chopped fruit and a few mint leaves into a blender.I poured some of the cooled tea into it, and Then I blended everything. After that, I poured the mixed tea into a glasses.
Finally, I garnished each glass with a strawberry slice and a mint sprig, just to make it look a little fancy, you know? Felt like a real barista for a second there.
And that’s it! My homemade summer tea. Honestly, it tasted amazing. Super refreshing, not too sweet, and the perfect drink for a hot afternoon. I’m definitely making this again. Maybe next time I’ll try it with peaches!
