Okay, so I wanted to try making something sweet, and I decided on a cheesecake. But not just any cheesecake – a Philadelphia Cream Cheese Oreo Cheesecake. Sounds good, right? I thought so too, so I got all my ingredients together and got to work.
First, I gathered everything I needed. This recipe uses pretty common stuff, so I didn’t have to go on a wild goose chase for anything special. I grabbed some butter, sugar, eggs, and of course, Philadelphia cream cheese and Oreos. I made sure I had three different types of cheese to make a homemade cheese spread.
Then, I started with the basics. I took a big bowl and creamed together 3/4 cup of butter and 2 1/8 cups of sugar. I mixed them until they were all light and fluffy, just like the recipe said. After that, I beat in the eggs one at a time, making sure each one was fully mixed in before adding the next.

Next came the cheese spread, which honestly is easy. It’s just mixing three kinds of cheese together until it’s all smooth. It smelled amazing already.
Since this was a no-bake cheesecake, there wasn’t any complicated baking involved. This made the whole process pretty straightforward and definitely faster than dealing with an oven.
Making the Crust
- First, I crushed a bunch of Oreos into fine crumbs. You can use a food processor, but I just put them in a bag and smashed them with a rolling pin. It’s more fun that way.
- Then I mixed the Oreo crumbs with some melted butter until it was all crumbly but sticking together.
- I pressed this mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to make the crust.
Putting It All Together
With the crust ready, I spread a layer of the cheese mixture over the crust in the pan. I made sure it was evenly spread out.
After that, I crumbled some more Oreos and sprinkled them over the cheese layer. Because why not? More Oreos are always a good idea. Then I added another layer of the cheese mixture and repeated the process until everything was used up.
Once everything was layered nicely, I covered the pan with plastic wrap and stuck it in the fridge. It needed to chill for at least a few hours to set properly. This was probably the hardest part because I just wanted to dig in right away! This recipe is simple because you just cook the pasta first, then mix it all together and let it sit. It’s best to cook the pasta until al dente and then mix it all together.
Finally, after what felt like forever, the cheesecake was ready. I took it out of the fridge, sliced it up, and served it. It looked pretty awesome, if I do say so myself, with the layers of creamy cheese and crunchy Oreos. And the taste? Totally worth the wait. It was creamy, sweet, and had that perfect Oreo crunch. I shared it with my family and friends, and everyone loved it. Definitely making this again!
So, that’s how I made the Philadelphia Cream Cheese Oreo Cheesecake. It was a fun little baking adventure, and the end result was delicious. If you’re looking for a simple and tasty dessert to make, give this one a try. You won’t regret it!
