So, the other day I decided to try making some mocktails, you know, those non-alcoholic fancy drinks. I had a bottle of sparkling grape juice lying around that I needed to use up, so I thought, why not?
I remembered having this amazing drink at a party once. It was super simple but tasted so good. Not too sweet, just right. I figured it probably involved sparkling grape juice, so I grabbed that and started experimenting.
My Experiment Begins
- First, I chilled the sparkling grape juice in the fridge. Gotta have it nice and cold, right?
- Then, I found some nice-looking glasses. Presentation matters, even if it’s just for me!
- I poured the chilled juice into the glasses, filling them about halfway.
Now, I remembered the drink I had at the party also had something else… some kind of citrusy flavor. So, I rummaged through my fridge and found a lemon. Perfect! I sliced it into wedges.

Adding a Twist
- I squeezed a bit of lemon juice into each glass. Not too much, just a splash.
- Then, I dropped a lemon wedge into each glass for garnish. Looking good!
Finally, the taste test! I took a sip, and… wow! It was pretty close to the drink I remembered. The sparkling grape juice was bubbly and refreshing, and the lemon added just the right amount of tartness.
It was so easy to make, and it felt like a little treat. I ended up making a few more glasses and just enjoyed them while relaxing on the couch. Honestly, I don’t even know if you can call this a real recipe, it’s so simple, but it’s definitely a winner in my book! I’ll for sure keep this idea for the next time I need a non-alcoholic drink. Maybe I’ll try it with lime next time!
