Okay, so I needed some new cane tips, the 3/4 inch kind. My old ones were totally worn out, like, smooth as a baby’s bottom. Not good for gripping, you know?
First, I measured the bottom of my cane to make absolutely sure I got the right size. Last thing I needed was to order the wrong ones and have to deal with returns. 3/4 inch it was, confirmed!
Then I did some searching online, there so many options from different stores. I read a bunch of reviews – always gotta check the reviews! Some folks said theirs wore out super fast, others said they were great. It’s a mixed bag, really.
Finding the Right Ones
I ended up going with some that had pretty consistently good reviews, and looked extra thick, I wanted to be sure that that would last a good long time.

- Looked for something that described to be thicked and durable.
When they arrived, they looked pretty solid. The rubber was nice and thick, felt like it could handle some serious use.
Putting them on was a bit of a wrestling match. The old ones were stuck on there good! I had to really twist and pull, and eventually they popped off. Pro tip: might want to use some gloves for extra grip, my hands were slipping all over the place.
Getting the new ones on was almost as tricky. It was a tight fit! I had to push and twist really hard. I even used the floor for leverage, pushing the cane down onto the tip. Eventually, I got them on, nice and snug.
Now, my cane feels way more stable. No more slipping and sliding, especially on smooth floors. It’s the little things, right? Definitely worth the effort, and now I’m good to go for a while!
