Okay, here’s my blog post about making air fryer brussel sprouts with maple syrup:
Alright, folks, let’s talk about these brussel sprouts. I used to hate them, like, really hate them. My mom used to boil them, and they’d end up all mushy and, well, gross. But then I discovered the magic of the air fryer, and everything changed.
So, I grabbed a bag of brussel sprouts from the store – you know, the pre-washed kind because, let’s be honest, I’m lazy. I dumped them into a big bowl.

Next, I trimmed off the ends and any discolored leaves. Some people like to cut them in half, but I was feeling extra lazy, so I just left them whole. If they’re huge, yeah, cut ’em. But these were pretty small.
Now for the good stuff. I drizzled some olive oil over the sprouts. Don’t be shy, get ’em coated. Then, I poured in some maple syrup. Again, don’t be stingy! The maple syrup is what gives these things that amazing sweet and savory thing.
I sprinkled in some salt and pepper. You could also add garlic powder, onion powder, whatever spices you like. I kept it simple this time.
Then, I tossed everything together. Get your hands in there and make sure every sprout is covered in that oily, maple-y goodness.
Air Fryer Time!
I preheated my air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. While the air-fryer is preheating, I have nothing to do. I just have to wait.
Once it was hot, I dumped the brussel sprouts into the air fryer basket. Try to spread them out in a single layer, but honestly, if they’re a little crowded, it’s not the end of the world.
I set the timer for about 15 minutes. But here’s the key: you gotta shake them around halfway through. This helps them cook evenly and get crispy on all sides.
After 15 minutes, I checked on them. They should be nice and brown, and maybe even a little charred in spots. That’s where the flavor is! If they need more time, just pop them back in for a few more minutes.

Once they were done, I pulled them out of the air fryer and dumped them into a serving bowl.
And that’s it! Seriously, so easy. And so, so good. Even my kids, who usually run screaming from brussel sprouts, actually ate these. The air fryer makes them crispy, and the maple syrup adds that perfect touch of sweetness. It’s a game-changer, I’m telling you.
