Okay, so I’ve been trying to watch my weight lately, and I got curious about something I eat a lot – those cornbread muffins from Cracker Barrel. I mean, they’re delicious, right? But how many calories are we talking about here?
So, I started digging around. First, I went straight to the source – the Cracker Barrel website. They have a nutrition page, but it wasn’t super detailed, just the basic stuff. I saw a note that says “2,000 calories a day is used for general nutrition advice” but no mention of corn muffins. I needed more specifics than that.
Next, I hit up Google, searching for “calories in Cracker Barrel cornbread muffin.” Boom! Tons of results. Most of them said that one muffin is about 210 calories. Not too bad, but not exactly a low-cal snack either.

I started to see a pattern in the numbers. It looks like most of those calories are coming from fat and carbs. One site said it was about 53% fat and 41% carbs. Another mentioned 47% fat and 45% carbs. So, yeah, definitely a good chunk of fat in these little guys.
I kept scrolling and found some more detailed breakdowns. One muffin has around 24g total carbs, 20g net carbs, 11g fat, and 4g protein. Another source said 1 serving has 180 calories, 82% from carbs, 10% fat, and 9% protein. One source even said that 1 muffin has 270 calories, 74% carbs, 17% fat, and 9% protein. Gosh, those numbers jump around. I think those numbers were off. I even found a site that claimed you’d need to walk for 58 minutes to burn off one muffin! Yikes!
- Calories: Around 210 per muffin (most sources agree)
- Carbs: About 24g total, 20g net
- Fat: Roughly 11g
- Protein: About 4g
So, there you have it. My little deep dive into the calorie count of Cracker Barrel cornbread muffins. They’re tasty, but definitely something to enjoy in moderation if you’re watching your calories. It’s all about balance, right? I guess I’ll be hitting the treadmill a little harder after my next Cracker Barrel visit!
