Alright, so the other day I got this idea stuck in my head: what are some breakfast foods that start with the letter “E”? Sounds simple, right? But when you get down to it, it’s a bit of a head-scratcher. So, I decided to make a little project out of it.
First off, I grabbed my phone and hit up Google. You know, the usual. I typed in “breakfast foods that start with E” and scrolled through the results. There were a few obvious ones, like eggs, but I wanted to see what else was out there.
- Eggs – This one’s a no-brainer. Scrambled, fried, poached, you name it. Eggs are a breakfast staple.
Then I started thinking about drinks ’cause, hey, they count too, right?

- Earl Grey Tea – I’m not usually a big tea drinker in the morning, but I found some sites mentioning it’s a pretty decent option for breakfast. It’s got that fancy, bergamot flavor.
And I remember a website emphasized the importance of a balanced breakfast. It talked about protein, whole grains, fruits, and all that jazz.
- English muffins – I guess these are a type of “bread.” But they’re often listed separately in breakfast categories. These are great for making little breakfast sandwiches, especially with eggs!
So, I decided to try it. I made myself a cup of Earl Grey, and I gotta say, it wasn’t half bad. Kinda relaxing, actually. Alongside that, I had some scrambled eggs and an English muffin. It was a pretty solid breakfast, if I do say so myself. All started with “E”, too!
My “E” Breakfast
I whipped up some scrambled eggs, nothing fancy, just salt and pepper. Toasted an English muffin. And, of course, brewed that Earl Grey tea. It was a nice change of pace from my usual cereal or toast. Felt a bit more… sophisticated, you know?
Anyway, that was my little adventure with “E” breakfast foods. It was more fun than I expected, and I ended up with a tasty breakfast out of it. Maybe I’ll try this with other letters sometime. “F” breakfast, anyone?
