Okay, so the other day I was thinking, I gotta have a good breakfast, but I’m always in a hurry, you know? So, I remembered those Bisquick Sausage Egg And Cheese Muffins I saw somewhere online. Seemed easy enough, and I could make a bunch ahead of time. I figured, why not give it a shot?

Getting Started

First things first, I grabbed all the stuff I needed. This recipe was pretty simple, thank goodness. I got a pound of breakfast sausage from the fridge – the regular kind, nothing fancy. Then, I cracked four eggs into a bowl. I also got about a cup of sharp cheddar cheese. Oh, and of course, the Bisquick mix. Can’t forget that.

Cooking the Sausage

Next up, I cooked the sausage in a pan. I just crumbled it up and cooked it over medium heat. I made sure to stir it around a lot so it cooked evenly. Once it was all brown and cooked through, I took it off the heat and drained the grease. Gotta get rid of that extra grease, right?

Mixing Everything Together

After the sausage was cooked, I dumped it into a big bowl. I added the eggs and cheese to the bowl. Then, I poured in some Bisquick mix. I don’t remember the exact amount, but it was enough to make a nice batter. I mixed it all up until it was well combined. It looked kind of weird, but I figured it would be okay.

Baking the Muffins

I preheated the oven to like, 400 degrees, I think. While that was heating up, I got a muffin tin and sprayed it with some cooking spray. No one wants their muffins to stick! Then, I spooned the batter into the muffin cups. I filled them up pretty good, almost to the top.

I popped the muffin tin into the oven and let them bake for about 20 minutes, maybe a little longer. I just kept an eye on them until they were golden brown and looked cooked through. You can stick a toothpick in to make sure they’re done. If it comes out clean, they’re good to go.

The Final Result

Once they were done, I took them out of the oven and let them cool for a bit. They smelled amazing! I couldn’t wait to try one. I grabbed one from the tin – it was still warm, which was nice. I took a bite, and man, it was delicious! The sausage, egg, cheese, and Bisquick all worked together perfectly. They were super tasty and filling, too.

The best part is, I had a whole bunch of these muffins now. I let the rest cool completely, and then I stored them in the fridge. Now, I have a quick and easy breakfast ready to go for the whole week. I can just grab one, heat it up in the microwave, and boom – breakfast is served. These muffins are definitely a win in my book. I’ll be making these again for sure.
