Hey everyone, it’s your boy back again with another kitchen adventure! Today, I tried to make a banana, strawberry, and apple smoothie. I’ve been trying to eat healthier, and smoothies seem like a good way to get those fruits in, you know?
Getting Started
So, I gathered all the stuff I needed. I grabbed a couple of bananas – one was a little brown, but hey, it’s still good, right? Then, I found some strawberries in the fridge, they were kinda fresh, so I picked about a cup of them. I also grabbed one of those big red apples I had sitting on the counter.
Prepping the Fruits
- I peeled the bananas first. It was pretty easy, just snapped off the end and pulled the peel down. I chopped them into smaller pieces so they’d blend easier.
- Next up, the strawberries. I washed them under the tap and then pulled off those little green tops. They were kinda small, so I didn’t bother cutting them.
- The apple was a little trickier. I washed it, then used a knife to cut it into quarters. I tried to cut out the core with all those seeds, that was a bit of a pain, to be honest. Then I just chopped the quarters into smaller chunks.
Blending Time
I dumped all the fruit into my blender. It looked pretty full. I also added some milk – I didn’t really measure it, just poured some in until it looked about right. Then I popped the lid on and hit the blend button.

It made a loud whirring noise, and I watched as the fruit started to get all mixed up. I let it run for a minute or two, just to make sure it was all smooth. I stopped it a couple of times to push down the fruit that was stuck to the sides.
The Final Result
Finally, I poured the smoothie into a glass. It was a nice pinkish color, looked pretty good! I took a sip, and it was… okay. It was kinda thick, maybe I should have added more milk. The taste was alright, you could definitely taste the banana and strawberry. The apple was kinda lost in there, though. But it was refreshing.
So, that was my smoothie adventure. It wasn’t perfect, but hey, I made it myself, and it was pretty healthy. I might try it again sometime, maybe with different fruits, or maybe some yogurt. We’ll see! Keep it real, everyone!
