Okay, here’s my smoothie-making adventure from this morning:
My Mango Strawberry Pineapple Smoothie Experiment
So, I woke up this morning craving something fruity and refreshing. I had a bunch of fruit sitting in the fridge and decided to throw together a smoothie. I’m no expert, but I figured, how hard could it be, right?
First, I grabbed my blender. It’s nothing fancy, just a regular one I got a while back. Then, I started gathering my ingredients:

- Mango: I had one ripe mango that was practically begging to be used. I peeled it and chopped it into chunks.
- Strawberries: I had a small container of strawberries, probably about a cup or so. I just hulled them (took off the green tops).
- Pineapple: I used canned pineapple chunks because that’s what I had. I drained the juice, but you could probably use fresh pineapple if you’re feeling ambitious. I used, like, half a can.
- yogurt:I like to use some.
I threw all the fruit into the blender. Then, I added a big spoonful of plain yogurt – maybe half a cup? I like my smoothies a little creamy. I didn’t add any extra liquid at first, figuring I’d see how it blended.
I put the lid on tight (important!) and started blending. It was pretty thick at first, so I stopped it and added a splash of water. Just a little, maybe a quarter of a cup. I blended it again, and it started to look more like a smoothie.
I kept blending until it was nice and smooth. I poured it into a glass, and that was it! Super easy.
It was actually really good! The mango and pineapple gave it a nice tropical flavor, and the strawberries added a little sweetness. The yogurt made it creamy without being too heavy. I’ll definitely be making this again. Maybe next time I’ll try adding some banana or spinach, just to mix things up.
