Okay, here’s my blog post about making Christmas Kahlua and Baileys Pudding Shots:
So, I wanted to do something a little different for our Christmas get-together this year. I’d seen these pudding shot things online, and they looked kinda fun, and who doesn’t like a boozy little treat? I decided to go with a Kahlua and Baileys combo because, well, it’s Christmas, and those just feel festive, you know?
Getting Started
First, I grabbed all my stuff. Here’s what I ended up using:

- Instant Chocolate Pudding Mix: Just the regular stuff, nothing fancy.
- Milk: Gotta have milk for the pudding, right? I used whole milk because, why not?
- Kahlua: The coffee-flavored goodness.
- Baileys Irish Cream: Creamy and delicious.
- Whipped Cream: For topping, because everything’s better with whipped cream.
- Chocolate Sprinkles: For that extra festive touch. It is christmas!
- Some small plastic cups:.
Mixing It Up
I followed the instructions on the pudding box, pretty much. Mixed the pudding mix with the milk, whisked it all up until it started to thicken. That took, like, two minutes? Super easy.
Then came the fun part. I poured in the Kahlua and Baileys. I didn’t really measure, just kinda eyeballed it. I probably did about equal parts of each, maybe a little more Kahlua because I like that coffee flavor. I stirred that all in until it was nice and combined.
Chilling Out
I grabbed these little plastic cups – the small ones, you know, like the ones you use for Jell-O shots. I spooned the pudding mixture into the cups, filling them up most of the way. Don’t fill up to the top!
Then I put the cups in the fridge. They need to chill for at least a couple of hours to set up properly. I think I left mine in for, like, four hours? Maybe a little more? I lost track of time watching Christmas movies.
The Final Touch
Once the pudding shots were nice and firm, I took them out of the fridge. I squirted a generous dollop of whipped cream on top of each one. And then, because it’s Christmas and all, I sprinkled some chocolate sprinkles on top. Gotta make ’em look pretty, right?
And that’s it! Super simple, super tasty. Everyone at the party loved them. They were a nice little boozy treat, and they looked pretty festive too. Definitely making these again next year!
