Okay, so I’ve been seeing this pasta dill recipe all over TikTok and I finally caved. I had to try it. I love dill, I love pasta, so… why not? Here’s how it went down in my kitchen.
Gathering the Goods
First, I grabbed all the ingredients. I already had most of the stuff, which was a bonus. Here’s my list:
- Pasta (I used penne, but you do you)
- Fresh dill (This is KEY, don’t even think about using dried)
- Butter (Lots of it, gotta be honest)
- Garlic (Because… garlic)
- Lemon (For that zesty kick)
- Parmesan cheese (The good stuff, freshly grated)
- Salt and pepper (Duh)
The Cooking Process
First step, I cooked the pasta according to the package directions. While that was going, I chopped up a whole bunch of fresh dill. Seriously, a LOT. Don’t be shy with it.

Next, I melted a generous amount of butter in a big pan. Once it was all melty and bubbly, I threw in some minced garlic and let it cook for a minute until it smelled amazing.
Then, the magic happened. I added the cooked pasta to the pan with the garlic butter, along with the mountain of fresh dill. I squeezed in the juice of half a lemon and tossed everything together. It smelled SO GOOD at this point.
Finishing Touches
Finally, I sprinkled in a healthy dose of freshly grated Parmesan cheese, gave it another toss, and seasoned it with salt and pepper. I tasted it and… OMG.
The Verdict
This pasta dill recipe is a winner. It’s so simple, but the flavors are incredible. The fresh dill, the lemon, the garlic, the butter… it all just works. I devoured a huge bowl and immediately wanted more. I’ll definitely be making this again. Maybe tomorrow.
I added too much dill on accident. But to be honest, it was still good!
