Okay, so today I’m gonna show you guys how I made this cherry coffee cake. It was pretty easy, ’cause I just used a cake mix to make things simpler.
Get everything ready
First, I grabbed a big bowl and tossed in about 1 1/2 cups of the cake mix, some flour, and a bit of yeast. Then, I poured in some warm water and stirred it all up until it was nice and smooth. After that, I cracked in a couple of eggs and mixed them in too.
Prepare the pan
Next, I greased up a 13×9 inch pan. I just used some cooking spray, but you could use butter or whatever you like. Once the pan was ready, I spread the batter evenly into it.

Add the cherries
Here comes the fun part! I opened up a can of cherry pie filling and spooned it all over the batter. I tried to get it pretty even, but it’s okay if it’s a little messy.
Bake it up
Then, I just popped the whole thing into the oven. Oh, I preheated it to 350 degrees, by the way. I baked it for a while, I think it was around 30 minutes, but you might wanna check the instructions on your cake mix box just to be sure.
Cool and enjoy
Once it was all golden brown and looked done, I took it out of the oven and let it cool down for a bit. It’s tough to wait, but trust me, it’s worth it. Once it was cool enough to handle, I cut myself a big slice and dug in. And let me tell you, it was delicious! The cake was all moist and fluffy, and the cherries were sweet and tart. It was the perfect combination.
