Skinny Dessert Hack: Weight Watchers Pineapple Angel Food Cake Recipe.

Okay, so I’ve been trying to be a little more mindful of what I eat, and I stumbled upon this recipe for “Weight Watchers Pineapple Angel Food Cake.” It sounded too good to be true, but I was like, “What the heck, let’s give it a shot!”

Getting Started

First things first, I gathered my ingredients. Seriously, this is the easiest thing ever. You only need TWO things:

  • One box of angel food cake mix.
  • One 20-ounce can of crushed pineapple in its own juice (don’t drain it!).

That’s it! I was already feeling pretty good about this whole endeavor.

Mixing It Up

I preheated my oven to 350°F (175°C), like the cake mix box instructed.

Then, I grabbed a big mixing bowl and dumped in the cake mix and the entire can of pineapple, juice and all.

I gently folded to combine the ingredients.

It looked kinda weird and gloopy, but I trusted the process.

Baking Time

I evenly spread the mixture into the baking pan.

I popped the pan into the preheated oven and set a timer for about 30 minutes, just like the box said. I kept an eye on it, though, because every oven is a little different.

The Moment of Truth

After about 30 minutes, I stuck a toothpick in the center, and it came out clean. The cake was golden brown and looked amazing.

I carefully removed from the oven, and flipped onto a wire rack to cool completely.

I have to admit, I was pretty impressed with myself. It looked like a “real” cake, even though it only had two ingredients!

Enjoy

The cake was so fluffy. The pineapple gave it a nice, subtle sweetness and kept it super moist. I cut myself a slice, and I was in heaven.

Seriously, this “Weight Watchers Pineapple Angel Food Cake” is a game-changer. It’s easy, delicious, and way lighter than regular cake. I’ll definitely be making this again!
