Okay, so I needed new cane tips, the 1/2 inch kind. My old ones were totally worn out, practically non-existent! I started by checking what I had left.
I rummaged through my junk drawer – you know, the one with all the random bits and pieces. I found a couple of old, mismatched tips, but nothing that would work. Total fail there.
The Hunt Begins
So, I figured I grab some new ones, should be easy right?

Went online, checked a couple of places, finally found those.
Putting Them On
Getting the old tips off was a bit of a struggle. I used a twisting, I try my best to take old tips off.
- First Tip: Used pliers to grip.
- Second Tip: Twisted and * finally popped off.
- Third Tip: Cleaned the cane end with some cleaner.
Putting the new tips on was way easier. I just pushed them onto the cane ends, making sure they were snug and secure. Gave the cane a few good taps on the floor to really seat them in there. Done!
Now my cane feels much more stable and secure. No more slipping and sliding! It’s the little things, you know?
