Okay, so I’ve been seeing these Ninja Creami recipes all over TikTok, and I finally caved and got one. My first experiment? Strawberry Lemon Sorbet. It sounded refreshing, and I had a ton of strawberries from my garden.
Getting Started
First, I washed and hulled all those strawberries. I probably had about two cups, maybe a bit more. I didn’t really measure, just eyeballed it.
Then, I zested and juiced two lemons. Make sure to zest first otherwise you’ll get your hands all sticky from juicing. I don’t have special tools to do those so I did my best.

Mixing Everything Up
Into a big bowl, I threw in the strawberries, lemon zest, and lemon juice. I also added about a half cup of sugar. Again, I just guessed. If you like things sweeter, add more. If you’re watching your sugar, use less or substitute with something else.
Next, I grabbed my immersion blender (you could use a regular blender too) and blended everything until it was pretty smooth. There were still some strawberry bits, which I didn’t mind.
The Waiting Game
I poured the mixture into the Ninja Creami pint container, put the lid on, and stuck it in the freezer. The hard part? Waiting! It needs to freeze for at least 24 hours, which felt like forever.
Creami Time!
Finally, the 24 hours were up! I took the pint out of the freezer, popped it into the Ninja Creami machine, and selected the “Sorbet” setting.
The machine whirred and churned, and after a few minutes, I had…sorbet! It was actually pretty amazing.
The Result
It was so good! Scooped some of the sorbet and tasted the fruit. Tangy, sweet, and super refreshing. It tasted way better than store-bought, and it was so easy to make. I’m already thinking about what flavor to try next. Maybe mango?
