Need Fruits Starting With K? Simple Guide to Common and Rare Finds!

Okay, so I was messing around with my kid the other day, and we were playing this alphabet game, you know, naming fruits and stuff. And then we got to “K.” I was totally blanking! I mean, I could think of “Kiwi,” but that was it. It bugged me, so I decided to do a little digging.

First, I just grabbed my phone and googled “fruits that start with K.” I figured there had to be more than just kiwi, right? And yep, I was right. There’s a whole bunch I’d never even heard of!

I decided to write them down, Just to see how many I could find. I grabbed a pen and paper, and got to work.

My “K” Fruits List

  • Kiwi: Of course, I knew about this one!
  • Kabosu: It looks a little bit like green lemon.
  • Kaffir Lime:A bumpy green fruit, and both the fruit and the leaves can be used.
  • Kahikatea: I also found this one, which is apparently from New Zealand.
  • Kakadu Plum: Native to Australia.

I feel so much smarter. I actually expanded my fruit vocabulary, haha! And I learned that there are a lot of fruits out there that I’ve never even seen before.

I think I will challenge my kid with these new k fruits, and it will be very interesting!
