Okay, so the other day I was craving something sweet, but I also wanted something kinda easy. I remembered seeing a recipe for banana pudding with graham crackers somewhere, and figured, why not? I’m no expert baker, but this seemed doable.

First, I gathered all my stuff. You know, the usual suspects: bananas (obviously!), some instant vanilla pudding mix, milk, graham crackers, and whipped cream. I think I had some vanilla wafers lying around too, so I grabbed those just in case.

Getting Started

I started by making the pudding. Super simple, just followed the instructions on the box. Whisked the pudding mix with cold milk until it got thick. Then, I sliced up the bananas. I like them kinda chunky, not too thin.

Layering It Up

This is where the fun begins! I took a big glass bowl – you gotta see those pretty layers, right? – and started layering. First, a layer of graham crackers. I broke some of them up to fit better. Then, I spooned in a layer of that creamy pudding. Next, a layer of those banana slices. I just kept repeating those layers: graham crackers, pudding, bananas. Easy peasy!

  • Graham Crackers
  • Pudding
  • Bananas
  • Repeat!

Then top layer I use some whipped cream covered.

Chill Time

Once it was all layered up, I covered the bowl with some plastic wrap and stuck it in the fridge. This is the hardest part – waiting! You gotta let it chill for at least a few hours, or even overnight. This lets the graham crackers soften up and everything gets all melty and delicious.

The Final Result

Finally, the moment of truth! I pulled the pudding out of the fridge, scooped out a big ol’ serving, and… yum! It was so good! The graham crackers were soft, the pudding was creamy, and the bananas were, well, banana-y! It was the perfect mix of textures and flavors. Definitely a winner, and way easier than I thought it would be. I’ll be making this again for sure!
