Okay, here’s my blog post about making a salad with oranges and strawberries, written from a personal, hands-on perspective, using simple language and basic HTML tags:
So, the other day I was craving something fresh and fruity, and I saw some oranges and strawberries in my fridge. I thought, “Why not throw them together in a salad?” I’m no chef, but this turned out pretty good, so I wanted to share my little kitchen adventure.
Getting Started
First, I washed everything really well. You know, gotta get rid of any dirt or whatever. I used:

- About 2 oranges
- A small punnet of strawberries (maybe like, 10-12?)
- Some lettuce, just your Regular.
Putting it Together
I peeled the oranges and pulled them apart into segments. I tried to get rid of most of that white stringy stuff, but honestly, a little bit is fine. Then, I took off the green tops of the strawberries and sliced them. Some I just halved, some I cut into smaller pieces, just to mix it up.
Next, I washed the lettuce and dried with some paper, then I put the lettuce on the bottom of the bowl.
After that, I just tossed the orange segments and sliced strawberries together in a bowl, after I put them on top of the * simple enough!
The Dressing (or Lack Thereof)
Honestly, I didn’t even use a dressing. The juice from the oranges and strawberries was enough for me. It was sweet and tangy all on its own. But, if you want, you could probably drizzle a little honey on top, or maybe a light vinaigrette. I kept it simple, though.
The Result
It was surprisingly tasty! The sweetness of the strawberries and the tanginess of the oranges went really well together. It was a super refreshing and light snack. Plus, it felt pretty healthy, which is always a bonus. And, the colord is so good, make me happy.
So yeah, that’s my little salad experiment. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s easy, delicious, and a good way to use up some fruit. Give it a try if you’re looking for something quick and healthy!
