Okay, here’s my attempt at writing a blog post in the style you requested, focusing on the process of making applesauce in a blender:
So, I wanted applesauce. Like, really wanted applesauce. But I didn’t want to go to the store. And I had a bunch of apples just sitting there. So, I thought, “Why not try making it myself?” And then I thought, “Blender! Let’s do this!”
First, I grabbed like, four apples. I think they were Fujis? Doesn’t really matter, any kind will do. I washed them, obviously. Nobody wants dirty applesauce.

Next, I chopped them up. I didn’t bother peeling them, ’cause I’m lazy and the skin has good stuff in it, right? I just cut out the core and those little seedy bits. Didn’t need to be perfect, just small enough chunks for the blender.
Then, I threw the apple chunks into my blender. It’s not one of those fancy-pants blenders, just a regular one I got on sale. I added a little bit of water, maybe like a quarter cup? Just enough to get things moving.
- Washed the apples.
- Chopped them into chunks, removing cores.
- Tossed them into the blender with a little water.
I started the blender on low speed. It made some funky noises at first, but then it started to get smooth. I cranked it up a little bit, and let it go for maybe a minute or two. I kept an eye on it, and stopped it a couple times to scrape down the sides with a spatula.
The blending
You could add other things, you know, I had seen online. Like, a little cinnamon, or some lemon juice, or even a bit of sugar if your apples aren’t sweet enough. But I just wanted plain applesauce, so I kept it simple.
Once it looked like applesauce – you know, smooth and kinda creamy – I stopped the blender. And that was it! Seriously, that’s all it took.
I poured it into a bowl and ate it. It was warm, which was kinda nice, actually. And it tasted way better than the store-bought stuff. Plus, I made it myself! Super easy, and I’d totally do it again.
