Okay, here’s my attempt at a blog post about making a strawberry and banana smoothie bowl, following all your instructions:
Alright, so this morning I was craving something kinda healthy, kinda sweet, and definitely refreshing. I decided to whip up a strawberry and banana smoothie bowl. I’d seen these all over Instagram, looking all pretty and delicious, so I figured, why not give it a shot?
First, I grabbed my blender. It’s nothing fancy, just a regular one I got on sale a while back. Then, I started gathering my ingredients. I always keep frozen fruit in the freezer – it makes smoothies way thicker and creamier, you know?

What went In
- A cup of frozen strawberries. I just used the store-brand ones, nothing special.
- One frozen banana. I usually slice bananas and freeze them when they’re getting a little too ripe. Perfect for smoothies!
- About half a cup of milk.I used normal cow’s milk.
- A tiny squirt of honey. Just for a little extra sweetness.
I tossed everything into the blender and started it up. At first, it was kinda chunky, so I added a splash more milk. The key is to go slow, adding liquid little by little, until you get that perfect, thick consistency. You don’t want it to be too runny, or it won’t hold the toppings very well.
Once it was all smooth and creamy, I poured it into a bowl. Now for the fun part – the toppings! I had some granola, some fresh strawberries I sliced, a few extra banana slices, and a sprinkle of chia seeds.
I arranged the toppings all nice and pretty on top of the smoothie. Gotta make it look good for the ‘gram, right? 😉
And that’s it! Took me maybe 10 minutes total, and it was seriously so good. Plus, it felt way healthier than my usual breakfast of, like, a pop-tart. I think I’ll definitely be making these again. I might even try different fruit combos next time… maybe some mango and pineapple?
