Okay, so, I tried to make a strawberry refresher today, and I want to share how it went. You know those strawberry refreshers from Starbucks? I wanted to make one just like that.

First off, I gathered everything I needed. The main things are, like, frozen strawberries, some sugar, water, and white grape juice. Oh, and I saw online that they use green coffee extract for a caffeine kick, but I didn’t bother with that. I just wanted the strawberry flavor. And ice, can’t forget the ice.

    Steps I followed:

  • I threw some frozen strawberries into the blender. I didn’t measure, just eyeballed it.
  • Then, I added water. Again, I just poured until it looked right, you know?
  • Next, I sprinkled in some sugar. I like mine a little sweet, so I might have added a bit more than I should have.
  • I poured in some white grape juice. This was a tip I saw online to make it taste more like the Starbucks one.
  • I blended everything until it was all smooth and nice.
  • After that, I filled a glass with ice and poured the mixture over it.
  • I also tossed in a few freeze-dried strawberry slices because I had some and it looked pretty.

So, how did it turn out? Well, it was pretty good! It tasted really fresh and fruity. Was it exactly like Starbucks? Not really, but it was close enough, and it was fun to make. Plus, it’s probably way cheaper to make it at home. I’m going to try it again for sure, maybe play around with the sugar and juice levels. It’s a nice little project for a hot day.
