Okay, so I’ve been seeing these coconut oil gummies all over the internet, and I finally decided to give them a try. I’m all about finding healthier ways to satisfy my sweet tooth, and these seemed like a fun project. Plus, I love anything coconut!

Gathering My Supplies

First things first, I needed to get my ingredients and tools together. Here’s what I grabbed:

  • Coconut oil: I used the organic, unrefined kind.
  • Fruit juice: I went with 100% cranberry juice, but you can use whatever you like.
  • Gelatin: I found some grass-fed gelatin powder.
  • Sweetener: I opted for honey, but you can use maple syrup or another sweetener.
  • Silicone molds: I got some cute little bear molds!
  • Saucepan: For heating everything up.
  • Whisk: To make sure everything gets mixed well.
  • Dropper or spoon: For getting the mixture into the molds.

Making the Magic Happen

Alright, time to get cooking! I started by gently melting the coconut oil in the saucepan over low heat. You don’t want to boil it, just get it nice and liquid.

Once the coconut oil was melted, I poured in the fruit juice and gave it a good whisk. Then, I slowly sprinkled in the gelatin powder while whisking constantly. This is important to avoid clumps. Nobody wants clumpy gummies!

After the gelatin was all dissolved, I stirred in the honey until it was completely mixed in. I tasted it and added a little more, because, well, why not?

Into the Molds

Now for the fun part! I used a dropper to carefully fill each of the little bear molds with the gummy mixture. You could use a spoon too, but the dropper made it less messy.

Once the molds were filled, I popped them into the refrigerator. I left them there for at least 2 hours to let them set completely. Patience is key here, folks.

The Final Result!

Finally, the moment of truth! I took the molds out of the fridge and carefully popped out the gummies. They looked so cute! And the taste? Amazing! They were sweet, tangy, and had a nice coconut flavor. They were also surprisingly firm and chewy, just like store-bought gummies.

It is my first time to made the gummies by my self, really cool and fun! I think it maybe the most simple diy food in the * time, I will try other flavour!
