So, the other day I was craving something sweet but healthy, you know? And I had these ripe pineapples sitting on my counter, just begging to be used. That’s when it hit me – pineapple smoothie! But I wanted to make it a little special, so I thought, why not add some almond milk?
First, I grabbed my trusty blender. It’s seen better days, but it still gets the job done. Then, I chopped up that pineapple into chunks. I probably used about two cups? I just eyeballed it, to be honest.
Next, I poured in about a cup of almond milk. I like the unsweetened kind, ’cause the pineapple is already pretty sweet. Oh, and I also threw in a handful of ice cubes. Gotta have that frosty chill, right?

- Chopped pineapple(about 2 cups)
- Almond milk (about 1 cup)
- Ice cubes (handful)
Then came the fun part – blending! I started on low speed and gradually increased it until everything was nice and smooth. It took maybe a minute or two. You want to get rid of all those pineapple chunks.
Once it was all blended up, I poured it into a tall glass. And let me tell you, it looked amazing! That vibrant yellow color, with a little bit of froth on top. I was proud of myself.
Of course, I had to taste it right away. And oh boy, it was delicious! The sweetness of the pineapple with the creamy almond milk, and that icy coolness. It was the perfect combination. It was gone like 5 seconds.
My conclusion
Honestly, this pineapple smoothie with almond milk was a total win. It was easy to make, super refreshing, and it satisfied my sweet tooth without any guilt. I’ll definitely be making this again. Maybe next time I’ll add some spinach or something, you know, to make it even healthier.
