Okay, so, I wanted to get into the autumn spirit, you know? The leaves are changing, it’s getting a bit chilly, and I just had this craving for something pumpkin-y. Not just any pumpkin thing, though. I wanted to make something that was super simple, but also really rich and satisfying. That’s when I thought, why not combine pumpkin with sweetened condensed milk? Best. Decision. Ever.
Getting Started
First, I gathered my ingredients. I grabbed a can of pumpkin puree. Make sure it’s 100% pumpkin and not pumpkin pie filling, they’re different, trust me. Then, a can of sweetened condensed milk. That stuff is like liquid gold, I swear. I also got some spices – cinnamon, nutmeg, and a little bit of allspice. Oh, and vanilla extract, can’t forget that.
Mixing It Up
I dumped the whole can of pumpkin puree into a big bowl. Then, I poured in the sweetened condensed milk. I used a spatula to get every last drop out of that can, wouldn’t want to waste any of that goodness. I sprinkled in a good amount of cinnamon, a dash of nutmeg, and just a pinch of allspice. Finally, I added a splash of vanilla extract.

Then came the fun part – mixing it all together! I used a whisk and just went at it until everything was combined. It turned into this beautiful, creamy, orange mixture. I’m not gonna lie, I definitely licked the whisk. It was already tasting amazing!
Baking Time
- I preheated my oven to 350°F. I’m pretty sure that’s a standard temperature for most baking.
- Then, I poured my pumpkin mixture into a pie crust. You can totally make your own crust, but I was feeling lazy, so I just used a store-bought one.
- Once the oven was hot, I popped the pie in and set a timer for 50 minutes. The waiting was the hardest part, my kitchen smelled incredible!
The Final Result
When the timer went off, I carefully took the pie out of the oven. It was golden brown around the edges and the center was just set. I let it cool completely before slicing into it, I know I should wait the pie become cold, but I just couldn’t wait! That first bite was heavenly. It was creamy, sweet, and had all those warm, cozy pumpkin spice flavors. It was like autumn in a pie! Seriously, if you’re looking for a super easy and delicious pumpkin treat, you’ve gotta try this. It’s a total game changer. You can also pair it with chilies, I haven’t tried it yet, but I definitely will do it next time!
