Okay, so I’ve been seeing this “egg cottage cheese” thing all over the internet, and I finally decided to give it a shot. I wasn’t really sure what to expect, but I’m always up for trying new food trends, especially if they’re supposed to be healthy.
Getting Started
First, I gathered my ingredients. You really don’t need much for this:
- Cottage cheese (I used the low-fat kind, because, you know, trying to be healthy)
- Eggs
- Some seasonings (I just grabbed salt, pepper, and a little garlic powder)
The Cooking Process
I started off by scrambling a couple of eggs in a pan.

I mean the cooking way, I cooked them until they were just about set, not too runny, not too dry.
Then, I added in a big scoop of cottage cheese. This is where I was a little skeptical, It looked, well, kinda weird.
I sprinkled in my seasonings and started stirring everything together.
The heat from the pan started to melt the cottage cheese a bit, and it all started to come together into this creamy, kinda chunky mixture.
I kept stirring and cooking it for a few more minutes, just until everything was heated through and well combined. The key is not let the eggs become too dry.

The Final Result
Honestly, It looked better than I thought. I transferred the cheesy scramble and ate.
And you know what? It wasn’t bad! The cottage cheese added a nice creaminess and tanginess to the eggs, and the seasonings gave it a good flavor.
It’s definitely a different texture than regular scrambled eggs, a little more…substantial, I guess?
I think I am gonna to make this again.
I might try adding some other stuff next time, like maybe some chopped veggies or some hot sauce for a kick.

All in all, It is a pretty easy and healthy breakfast (or snack, or whenever you want to eat it).
