Okay, so I’ve been craving that cheesy, garlicky goodness from Little Caesars, you know, their Italian Cheese Bread? I decided, why not try making it at home? It sounded like a fun little project, and honestly, I was pretty pumped to see if I could nail it.
First things first, I gathered all the ingredients. I needed some pizza dough, which I just picked up from the store because making dough from scratch seemed like a whole other adventure for another day. Then, of course, there was the cheese – mozzarella and Parmesan, the dynamic duo. I also grabbed some butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and a little salt. Pretty basic stuff, right?
I started by rolling out the pizza dough on a baking sheet. I made sure it was a decent size, not too thick, not too thin. Then I melted a good amount of butter – we’re not counting calories here – and mixed it with a generous amount of garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt. I brushed this heavenly mixture all over the dough. It already smelled amazing at this point, and I hadn’t even gotten to the cheese yet!

The Cheesy Part
- Next up, I sprinkled a generous layer of mozzarella all over the dough. I made sure to cover every inch because, let’s be real, the more cheese, the better.
- Then came the Parmesan. I dusted it over the mozzarella, adding that extra layer of salty, nutty flavor.
With the cheese in place, I carefully folded the dough in half, sealing the edges to keep all that cheesy goodness inside. Then I brushed the top with the remaining garlic butter mixture and sprinkled on a bit more Parmesan. Because why not?
I popped the whole thing in the oven, which I had preheated to a toasty 400 degrees. I baked it for about 15-20 minutes, just until the crust was golden brown and the cheese was melted and bubbly.
When I pulled it out of the oven, my kitchen smelled like an Italian pizzeria. The cheese bread looked absolutely glorious – golden brown, cheesy, and smelling like a dream. I let it cool for a few minutes (the hardest part, honestly), then sliced it into sticks.
And let me tell you, it was a success! It tasted just like the Little Caesars version, maybe even better because it was fresh out of the oven and made with love. The crust was perfectly crispy, the cheese was gooey and flavorful, and the garlic butter mixture was just chef’s kiss. I was so proud of myself for pulling it off. It was a fun little baking adventure, and I definitely recommend giving it a try if you’re a fan of Italian Cheese Bread. It might just become your new favorite thing to whip up for a movie night or a casual get-together.
