Alright, listen up, y’all! Wanna know how to cook them frozen mini pancakes in that there air fryer thingy? It ain’t rocket science, I tell ya. My grandkid showed me, and if this old lady can do it, so can you.
First off, get yourself them frozen mini pancakes. Don’t matter what brand, just the little ones. You know, the ones the kids like. Take ’em outta the bag, or the box, whatever they come in. Don’t need no fancy stuff, just rip it open.
Now, about that air fryer… Mine’s a simple one, just got a timer and a heat thingy. If yours is all fancy, well, you figure it out. But the basic idea’s the same for all of ’em, I reckon.
- First thing, make sure that there air fryer basket thing is clean. Don’t want no old food bits stuck on your pancakes, yuck!
- Some folks say you gotta spray it with oil, some say you don’t. I don’t bother, makes too much of a mess. But if you want, go ahead, a little spray won’t hurt nothin’.
Okay, now dump them pancakes into the basket. Don’t overcrowd ’em, give ’em some space to breathe. You know, like when you’re plantin’ seeds, you don’t put ’em all on top of each other, right? Same thing with the pancakes.
Now, this is the important part, the heat and the time. My grandkid says to put it on 375, that’s what he calls it. Sounds fancy, but it’s just the heat setting. If your air fryer uses different numbers, just put it on medium-high, I guess. Not too hot, not too cold, just right.
And the time? Well, that depends on how crispy you like ’em. I like mine a little crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. So, I put ’em in for about four minutes. Yep, just four minutes! That’s faster than you can boil water, I tell ya. But keep an eye on ’em, ’cause every air fryer is different. Yours might cook ’em faster or slower.
After four minutes, take a peek. If they ain’t crispy enough, put ’em back in for another minute or two. Just don’t burn ’em! Burnt pancakes ain’t good for nobody.
Once they’re done, take ’em outta the basket. Careful, they’ll be hot! I use them tong thingys, keeps my fingers from gettin’ burnt. You can use a fork, or whatever you got.
And that’s it! You got yourself some air-fried mini pancakes. Easy peasy, right? My grandkid likes to eat ’em with syrup, but I like ’em plain. You can eat ’em however you want. With butter, with jam, with whipped cream, or even with chicken, if that’s your thing. I ain’t judgin’.
Now, some folks might say, “Why bother with the air fryer? Can’t you just use the oven or the microwave?” Well, sure you can. But the oven takes forever, and the microwave makes ’em all soggy. The air fryer, that’s the best way, I tell ya. It’s fast, it’s easy, and it makes ’em nice and crispy.
And listen, if you got a whole bunch of them pancakes, you can cook ’em in batches. Just don’t put too many in the basket at once. And if you got some leftovers, you can put ’em in the fridge and heat ’em up later. They ain’t as good as fresh, but they’ll still be tasty.
So there you have it. Cooking frozen mini pancakes in the air fryer ain’t no big deal. Even an old lady like me can do it. So go on, try it yourself. You’ll be surprised how easy it is. And your kids, or your grandkids, or even your husband, will thank you for it.
And remember, don’t be afraid to experiment. Maybe you like your pancakes a little more crispy, maybe you like ’em a little softer. Maybe you like to add some cinnamon, or some nutmeg. It’s all up to you. Just have fun with it, and don’t take it too serious. After all, it’s just pancakes!
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go eat some pancakes. All this talk about food’s made me hungry. You have a good day now, ya hear?
