Today, I was craving something savory and satisfying for breakfast, so I decided to make some breakfast ham. I mean, who can resist the allure of a good piece of ham in the morning?
First, I rummaged through my fridge and found a nice thick slice of ham that I had bought from the store earlier this week. It was just sitting there, waiting to be cooked.
Next, I grabbed my trusty frying pan and placed it on the stove. I turned the heat to medium and let the pan heat up for a bit. While the pan was heating, I took the ham out of its packaging and gave it a quick look-over. Looked good to me!

- I added a little bit of oil to the pan. Just a smidge, you know, to prevent sticking.
- Once the oil was hot, I carefully laid the ham slice into the pan.
- Then came the waiting game. I let the ham cook for a few minutes on one side until it started to brown and got those nice grill marks.
- Using a spatula, I flipped the ham over to cook the other side.
- I cooked the ham for another couple of minutes until it was nicely browned on both sides. It smelled pretty darn good, let me tell you.
Once the ham was cooked, I transferred it to a plate and admired my handiwork. It looked delicious, if I may say so myself. And the best part? It was quick and easy to make.
I paired the ham with some eggs and toast because, well, it’s a classic combo. And there you have it – a simple yet tasty breakfast featuring some good ol’ ham. Sometimes, the simplest things are the best, am I right?
If you’re in the mood for a satisfying breakfast, give this a try. It won’t disappoint. I devoured the whole plate and I’m not even sorry about it.
